Proton intensity delivered during a given week in 2024 run. Change week using the tabs. N.B: Weeks are defined from 9am Wednesday - 9am Wednesday as per the convention used by IRRAD. Statistics use nominla IRRAD target of 2.2E16 protons per week and nominla flux of 5E10 protons/second

Beam Transmission

Showing transmission as follows:

  • PS Ring transmission: ratio between intensity in the PS after ejection of parasitic TOF bunch (PR.DCAFTEJE_1) and intensity of the east bunch measured before east ejection (PR.DCBEFEJE_2).

  • Extraction efficiency: ratio between intensity in the last BCT of the line and intensity before extraction of East beam: T08.XSEC070 / PR.DCBEFEJE_2:INTENSITY

  • Overall transmission: the ratio between intensity in the last BCT of the line and intensity after injection: T08.XSEC070 / PR.DCAFTEJE1:INTENSITY.

Data is filtered so only values between 0 and 150 % are shown.

The normalised transmission is shown in the second plot:

  • PS Ring transmission - Normalised: extraction/injection / PR.DCAFTEJE_1:INTENSITY.

  • Extraction efficiency - Normalised: Extraction efficiency / PR.DCBEFEJE_1:INTENSITY.

  • Overall transmission - Normalised: Overall transmission / PR.DCAFTEJE_1:INTENSITY.
